Pure wool rug care

Wool rugs

Pure Wool rugWe recommend using WOOLSAFE-approved cleaning products as they have been scientifically and independently tested and are safe and effective for use.

Wool rugs will shed at first and this is natural for the nature of the rug and will reduce over time. It is important that you do not vacuum the rug excessively; light vacuuming will remove loose fibres from the rug surface without damaging the pile.  We recommend that wool rugs are turned on a regular basis to ensure that there is even pile wear, this is also important if one area is closer to direct sunlight that may fade the colours.
